My Story

It's been more than four decades Kathleen Perry has entertained audiences and instructed vocalist on "singing from the heart" www.videovocalcoach.com and about life lessons as a performer.  We'd like to think it's because of talent, strength from the universe, God and being fortunate to grow up in the San Francisco Bay Area around great musicians. Also the musical knowledge from a father a jazz aficionado, a mother singer who taught her to "practice daily", a brother Chuck Brown teacher of greats like "Terry Bozzio, David Garibaldi, and husband Art Perry, jazz drummer, who toured with greats like Rahsaan Roland Kirk.

The Gospel Church was the first audience to recognize her talent and then Kathleen Perry at age of ten recorded with the famous folk group the "Limeliters" RCA album "Through Children's Eyes".

Kathleen Perry entertained audiences from San Francisco USA to Palermo Sicily Italy & Europe for over four decades. All the renowned jazz clubs, festivals, cathedrals, stadiums with a devoted following locally and internationally.   Kathleen Perry's library of songs begin with Stevie Wonder, Al Green, Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington but in truth it's because we really know how to connect with an audience. Kathleen Perry, "music has always been a traveling experience for me, It takes me to s spiritual place and allows me to take the audience with me."  "At heart, music releases my soul."
